This work developed a set of rapid and automatic fault diagnosis system for cable lines based on the principle of two-terminal traveling wave localization,which can quickly localize line faults by online monitoring of fault traveling waves.The system has acquired preliminary practical application in an actual power supply company with a successful di-agnosis of a fault hidden danger.
