V2G Technology-based Load Balancing for Hybrid Power Supply Systems
Large-scale and stochastic connection of electric vehicles may bring about a significant impact on the grid. Therefore it is necessary to study coordinated control strategies and rationally schedule EVs-grid energy exchanges,so as to alleviate the adverse effects of electric vehicle charging on the grid, and to utilize the energy storage characteristics of e-lectric vehicles to support distributed generation systems. This paper proposes a load balancing method for a hybrid power supply system based on V2 G technology. The method formulates charging strategies for charging stations based on the load characteristics of the grid at different time periods, which can effectively address the impact of electric vehicle char-ging on the grid, and simplify the system structure through power line carrier communication technology, thus improving system reliability. The proposed strategy and method are verified to be effective.
