Causal Analysis and Treatment of a Case of Bearing Oil Film Oscillation Encountered by the Low Pressure Cylinder of a 300 MW Steam Turbine Unit
A systematic analysis was conducted on the causes of sudden bearing oil film oscillation in the low-pressure cyl-inder of a 300 MW steam turbine unit.It was found that the cause of this oil film oscillation was steam leakage on the split surface of the high and medium pressure outer cylinder, which caused the elevation of the#2 bearing in the intermediate pressure cylinder to rise, the dynamic load of the#3 bearing to decrease, and the stability of the#3 bearing to decrease, leading to bearing instability. After solving the steam leakage on the split surface of the high and medium pressure outer cylinder and adjusting the elevation of bearing#2,the bearing seat of the low-pressure cylinder has been reinforced, and the problem of sudden oil film oscillation was solved.
