Power Supply System for Mobile Electronically Controlled Firefighting Water Cannons
Aiming at addressing the current problems inflicted on mobile electronically controlled firefighting water can-nons,such as altering power supply circumstances, complicated external interferences, and unstable power supply volt-age,a modifying design of the power supply system for mobile electronically controlled firefighting water cannons was car-ried out in the present work. The system consisted of a three-port DC/DC converter and a microcontroller,in which the former could integrate different inputs and loads together, and the latter controlled the converter's work mode switching and battery management system. The system could then promptly change its operational mode through the microcontroller by detecting load variation, and the availability of external supply voltage and the internal battery pack, thus ensuring a stable power output to the load.A three-terminal converter system topology was designed using Simulink in MATLAB,and the system topology, mode switching, and battery pack charge and discharge were analyzed in the simulative circuit. The results confirmed the prompt mode switching and satisfactory battery pack management capability of the designed power supply system under altering power supply circumstance, thus proving its feasibility.
