Intelligent Distributed Protection System Based on GOOSE Communication
In response to the reliability and selectivity issues brought by the integration of Distributed Generation(DG)in-to the distribution network, and to ensure the safe and stable operation of the distribution network power supply system, this paper designs an intelligent distributed protection system based on General Object Oriented Substation Events(GOOSE)communication. The system uses GOOSE signals to perform hierarchical processing on the distribution net-work,achieving nearby disconnection, fault isolation, and preventing overstep tripping. In addition, the system adopts the transient first half wave energy method to achieve the small current grounding line selection function, which can effective-ly solve the problem of difficult line selection after single-phase grounding faults occur in ungrounded systems. The experi-ment shows that the system can effectively prevent the occurrence of overstep tripping accidents, and reliably select grounding lines when single-phase grounding, improving power supply reliability.
