Fault Location of 10 kV Distribution Line Based on ICEEMDAN-Hilbert
The calibration of fault traveling wave head in distribution network is an indispensable part of fault location. In order to solve the difficulty in identifying the traveling wave head,a new wave head calibration algorithm is proposed, which combines the empirical mode decomposition and the ICEEMDAN-Hilbert.First,ICEEMDAN is used to decompose the fault signal and extract the high frequency inherent modal function component from it.Secondly,Hilbert transform is used to extract the instantaneous frequency of the modal component signal, and the arrival time of the fault traveling wave in the distribution network is determined according to the singularity position of the first instantaneous frequency. Finally, the fault location is calculated according to the two-terminal location principle. The feasibility and accuracy of the algo-rithm are verified by the application in the actual case of 10 kV distribution line fault.
