Application of Frequency and Load Regulation of Condensate Water in the Renovation of Million Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power Units
This study aims to improve the operational economy and grid performance of two 1050 MW ultra supercritical coal-fired units in Shenhua Wanzhou power plant by implementing an energy-saving coordinated control system based on condensate load regulation.By adopting a new coordinated control method, the opening of the deaerator water control valve is dynamically adjusted in real time to control the condensate flow rate, thereby adjusting the steam extraction vol-ume of the turbine and enhancing the load response capability of the unit.By comparing and analyzing the performance of two units with and without the new system, the results show that the units with the new system have reduced their elec-tricity consumption by 45.5%,35.0%,and 45.7%in terms of primary frequency regulation small disturbance assess-ment,AGC K1 and K3 assessment, respectively. This confirms the significant effect of the new system in improving unit energy efficiency and optimizing grid performance.
