Research on Lightning Protection Technology of 35 kV Collector Line
This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the lightning protection measures taken to address the frequent lightning-induced tripping challenges faced by a 35 kV power collection line.Among the strategies,the differential light-ning arrester placement strategy stands out as the recommended optimal solution due to its outstanding feasibility,effi-ciency,and cost-effectiveness.This strategy involves the precise deployment of lightning arresters to regulate the flow and intensity of lightning currents,thereby reducing the impact and damage caused by lightning strikes to the power lines.The implementation of the differential lightning arrester placement strategy mainly relies on a comprehensive analysis of the specific design of the towers,the characteristics of the geographical environment,and historical lightning strike records to plan the installation location,quantity,and phase distribution of the arresters.The aim is to create a lightning protection network that is highly adaptable and significantly effective.Practical test data have verified the exceptional effectiveness of the differential lightning protection technology on 35 kV power collection lines,making it a strategy worthy of reference and promotion.
