Dead-band Predictive Current Control-based Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Simulator
Aiming at the problem of slow dynamic response and poor simulation effect of the permanent magnet synchro-nous motor simulator when simulating the actual motor port characteristics, this work proposed a motor simulator based on a dead-band predictive current control design. The simulator calculated the actual motor port current according to the motor model. The non-differential beat predictive current controller took it as the prediction value of the next moment, calculated the optimal voltage vector for the simulated converter, and enabled the simulator port current to rapidly track the given value. The optimal voltage vector of the simulator converter was calculated so that the port current of the simu-lator can quickly track the given, which improved the dynamic performance of the motor simulator and the effect of motor simulation. The models of two kinds of permanent magnet synchronous motor simulators designed based on conventional PI control and dead-band predictive current control were constructed using MATLAB/Simulink simulation, and the com-parison between the two and the permanent magnet synchronous motor model in the Simulink library was carried out to validate the superiority of the motor simulator designed in this paper in simulating port characteristics.
