Since 2023,the assessment on reactive power of one hydropower plant has become more and more frequent,and the mainly caused by the bus voltage exceeding the upper limit.The article compile relevant data from recent years,and conduct in-depth analysis from two aspects of power plant and power grid.Finally,the cause was identified.After a series of management,the problem was solved to ensure the safety and stability of power grid and to avoid further expan-sion of economic losses of power plant.
