Analysis of the Types and Measurement Methods of 10 kV Power Cable Faults
With the increasing demand for electricity in China,the power supply mode has also changed,gradually shifting from the original overhead line power supply mode to the cable power supply mode.According to relevant information,the proportion of cable usage in the survey results of 10 kV distribution network lines is much higher than that of overhead lines.But with the widespread use of power cables,the number of cable faults has also increased,which is not conducive to detection by operation management departments,increases the difficulty of management,and affects the reliability of power supply in the power grid.Based on the basic characteristics of cable structure,this article analyzes the causes and types of cable accidents,explores specific measures to deal with cable faults,in order to minimize the probability of cable faults and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
