From"Fractured Narrative"to the Return of Romanticism in New Century Novels
Since the modern era,Chinese romanticism has been suppressed by realism and modernism,and the phenome-non of"fractured narrative"in the works since the new century can show the return of Romanticism in the new century.Taking Wang Anyi's novel of the new century as an example,the"fractured narrative"is divided into three aspects:the fractured narrative characters,space and plot;the insertion of description,discussion,and lyricism;a break in narrative logic.The fractured narrative makes Romanticism jump out of the whole of realism,call back the lost aesthetic tradition of modernism,and writers rebuild the spiritual tower to find the way home,so as to realize the return of Romanticism.
