摘要
"格外"作为现代汉语中常用的程度副词,是由名词"格"和方位词"外"组合的偏正短语演变而成."格外"词汇化开始于两宋时期,成熟于清朝,并一直沿用至今.在这一演变过程中,句法位置、语义虚化、主观化影响和词汇双音化趋势都发挥了重要作用.文章试从历时演变的角度讨论"格外"从偏正短语到程度副词的成词过程,分析"格外"词汇化的动因和机制.
Abstract
As a common degree adverb in modern Chinese,"Gewai"evolved from the combination of the noun"Ge"and the orientation word"Wai".The lexicalization of"Gewai"began in the Song Dynasty and matured in the Qing Dynasty,and has been used ever since.In this evolutionary process,syntactic position,semantic fiction,subjective influence and the tendency of lex-ical diphthongization all played important roles.In this paper,we try to discuss the process of lexicalization of"Gewai"from a regu-lar phrase to a degree adverb,and analyze the motivation and mechanism of lexicalization of"Gewai"from the perspective of its chronological evolution.
