A Study on Linguistic Transfer in English Grammar Acquisition of College Students
Language transfer has always been a compelling topic in the field of second language acquisition,and this study focuses on the phenomenon of language transfer in college students'English grammar acquisition,employing an integrative experi-mental design for exploration.By combining sentence test sets and questionnaires,the specific impact of language transfer on college students'English grammar acquisition and the underlying mechanisms were analyzed in depth.The research findings indicate that college students experience both positive and negative transfers at different levels in their English grammar acquisition.Further data analysis,derived from questionnaires and interviews,reveals a significant influence of learning strategies on language transfer in grammar acquisition.Based on these discoveries,targeted suggestions for improving teaching strategies are provided for college Eng-lish instructors.
