数字经济发展优化了地区能源消费结构吗?——基于绿色技术创新的中介效应分析

化石能源的大量消耗是推高我国碳排放的主要原因,随着"碳达峰""碳中和"双碳目标的提出,优化我国能源消费结构迫在眉睫.而以数字化技术为核心的数字经济逐渐成为能源消费结构转型升级的重要助力.利用数字经济基础设施、用户规模、创新环境和产业规模四个维度的指标构建数字经济发展指数,测度2013-2021年中国分地区数字经济发展水平,并进一步探究数字经济发展对能源消费结构的影响.研究表明,数字经济发展具有优化能源消费结构的作用;中介效应检验发现,数字经济发展通过促进绿色技术创新水平优化能源消费结构;进一步分析发现,该作用在地区之间呈现出异质性特征,数字经济发展对中部地区能源消费结构的优化效应强于东部和西部地区.
Does the Development of Digital Economy Optimize the Regional Energy Consumption Structure?——Analysis of Intermediary Effect Based on Green Technology Innovation
The massive consumption of fossil energy is the main reason for pushing up China's carbon emissions.With the proposal of"peak carbon dioxide emissions"and"carbon neutrality",it is urgent to optimize China's energy consumption struc-ture.The digital economy with digital technology as the core has gradually become an important boost to the transformation and up-grading of energy consumption structure.In this paper,the development index of digital economy is constructed by four dimensions of digital economy infrastructure,user scale,innovation environment and industrial scale,and the development level of digital econ-omy in China from 2013 to 2021 is measured,and the influence of digital economy development on energy consumption structure is further explored.The research shows that the development of digital economy can optimize the energy consumption structure;The in-termediary effect test shows that the development of digital economy optimizes the energy consumption structure by promoting the lev-el of green technology innovation;Further analysis shows that this effect is heterogeneous among regions,and the optimization effect of digital economy development on energy consumption structure in the central region is stronger than that in the eastern and western regions.
