计算智能与人工智能辅助的科学计算之辨析

探讨科学计算中的一些困境,指出人工智能的发展可以为这些困境的破解提供新的途径.在AI辅助科学计算的场景下,分析了计算智能与智能计算的联系和区别,给出了这些场景的框架和内涵.然后给出了AI辅助科学计算的四个具体案例,它们借助人工智能分别求解了非凸优化、组合优化、结构优化、非线性方程求解等几个困难领域的问题,展示了人工智能融合到科学计算问题中的大致过程,最后,给出了本文的结论和几个开放的问题.
AI for Scientific Computing: Cases and Open Questions
Artificial intelligence is shown to be helpful in dealing with the challenges in scientific computing. In the context of AI for scientific computing, the relationship and differences between computational intelligence and intelligent computing are ana-lyzed, and the framework and connotation of AI for scientific computing are provided. Then three specific cases of AI for scientific computing are presented, which include non-convex optimization, structural optimization, and nonlinear equation solving. It shows the general process of integrating artificial intelligence into scientific computing problems. Finally, conclusion and open questions are provided.
