Xi Jinping's Theoretical Logic and Practical Value of Historical Confidence
Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC,Xi Jinping,General Secretary of CPC,has made a systematic dis-cussion on the firm historical confidence which deeply reflects his profound historical vision,broad historical feelings,and strong sense of historical responsibility. It provides fundamental guidance for Chinese Communists to strengthen their historical initiative,strengthen their historical consciousness,and grasp the laws of history on the new journey. Starting from the basic theory of syllogism in philosophy,this article analyzes the important discourse on historical confidence,elaborates on the problem of"what"historical confidence is from the dimensions of"historical facts"and"four confidences",then points out"how to do",that is,strengthening history education and historical cognition and building a perfect historical knowledge system;mastering the historical initiative,car-rying forward the great spirit of party building,and continuing the spiritual spectrum of the Party;cultivating the foundation and ad-hering to the road of"examination"for better realizing historical confidence.
