To solve the problems of high cost,long observation time and lack of available positio-ning information in the current lunar surface positioning technology,research on lunar surface po-sitioning technology is carried out based on long term evolution(LTE)base stations and the LTE technology is introduced.The deployment of base stations on the lunar surface provides a feasible basis for the real-time positioning of lunar rovers.A lunar surface positioning method is proposed based on factor graph optimization.By fusing the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)ranging information of the lunar base station and the inertial navigation information of the rover and utilizing limited lunar surface infrastructure,accurate positioning of the lunar surface rover is realized under low-cost hardware conditions.The simulation experiment results show that this lunar surface localization method possesses good accuracy and robustness.
