Summary of the Conference,"Inheritance and Innovation-2023 International Academic Seminar on Dunhuang Cave Art Research"
On September 22-24,2023,the academic conference"Inheritance and Innovation-2023 International Academic Seminar on Dunhuang Cave Art Research"was held at Mogao,Dunhuang.Over sixty scholars in Dunhuang art research from universities and cultural institutions both domestic and foreign attended the seminar.During the event,the delegates discussed issues including the materials and techniques of Dunhuang murals,Dunhuang art theory,and the innovative developments that Dunhuang art underwent.The seminar generated many valuable recommendations and debates regarding Dunhuang art,as well as several new promising directions for future research.
