The Complementary Activities of Conservation,Research and Innovation——Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Dunhuang Academy
The Dunhuang Academy has undergone 80 years of challenges and triumphs over its long history.All of the achievements it has obtained in the conservation and research of cultural heritage indicate that it is,in fact,the researchers of the academy themselves who constitute the primary force of cultural heritage.Conservation and research are interdependent and complementary,and act as necessary conditions for building the Dunhuang Academy into a model of world cultural heritage conservation and a hub for Dunhuang Studies research.
