Phase Noise Cancelation Based on Adaptive Joint Modulation Scheme for Massive MIMO-OFDM System
Polarization state is an inherent property of a signal, which is insensitive to phase noise.Polarization modulation, which uses polarization state to carry information, can eliminate phase noise. However, polarization modulation requires two antennas for transmission and reception, and the traversal capacity performance is poor when the phase noise power is small or there is no phase noise. To address this issue,an adaptive joint modulation scheme is proposed. This scheme combines Quadrature Amplitude Modulation(QAM)and Polarization Modulation, and improves the traversal capacity at different phase noise powers by adaptively adjusting the order of QAM and Polarization Modulation. The simulation results show that the traversal capacity performance of this scheme is superior to polarization modulation and QAM modulation schemes.
