Three-Dimensional Numerical Simulation on Aeolian Noise Source Characteristics of Overhead Transmission Line
Aeolian noise of overhead transmission lines poses a significant threat to building environment. To predict and mitigate the noise,it is crucial to analyze the sound source characteristics.Combining large eddy simulation and Lighthill acoustic analogy, this paper employed a three-dimensional model to analyze the source characteristics of a commonly used conductor(LGJ-300/25 aluminum conductors steel reinforced)as well as a smooth cylinder of equal-diameter as comparison. The results show that the hybrid calculation method can be effectively used to simulate the wind noise of the conductor;under the wind speed of 30 m·s-1,the conductor pattern has little effect on the wind noise, and the numerical simulation effect of the conductor and the cylinder model is equivalent under the same axial length.Usually the axial length of the conductor is long, and the acoustic correction method can be used to calculate the sound power per unit length of the conductor in order to improve the computational efficiency by establishing a small-length meta-segment model.
