Research on Metal 3D Printing Process for Micro-channel Cold Plate of Antenna
The micro-channel liquid cooling technology has been the research hotspot in the thermal design of electronic equipment in recent years and it has been gradually used for heat dissipation of electronic e-quipment with high heat flux, but there are still many difficulties in the implementation of the engineering application because the technology of matching is not perfect. This paper studies 3D printing technology in Aluminum Alloy micro-channel cold plate, describes the process, and manufactures a number of small size chip and large size antenna array micro-channel cold plates. Analysis shows 3D printing can basically complete the forming of micro-channel cold plate with complex topological structure but there still exist problems, such as micro-channel blockage, surface pits and warpage.
