Convergence and Performance Analysis of the Affine Projection Algorithm with Direction Error

A new statistical analysis model is pro-posed to analyze the Affine projection algorithm with di-rection error (AP-DE). Four assum ptions are m ade, which are based on the direction vector for the AP-DE algo-rithm. Under these assumptions, deterministic recursive equations for the weight error and for the m ean-square er-ror are derived. We also analyze the steady-state behavior of the AP-DE algorithm. Simulation results are provided to corroborate the analytical results.
