Research on the Effect of Atmospheric Pressure on the Performance of Air Conditioners
With the economic and social development of the"The Belt and Road Initiative"and the Western Sichuan Plateau, the demand for air conditioners in low pressure areas is increasing, and the number of air conditioners used in low pressure areas will continue to increase. So it is necessary to study the impact of different atmospheric pressures on the performance of air conditioners to ensure the normal use of air conditioners in low pressure areas. This article used the air enthalpy difference method to test the performance of air conditioners under different atmospheric pressures, obtained the operating parameters of the air conditioners, analyzed the impact of different atmospheric pressures on the performance of the air conditioners, and obtained the performance attenuation characteristics under low atmospheric pressure areas conditions. As atmospheric pressure decreases, the refrigeration capacity,EER,air volume, and outlet temperature of the air conditioner decreased during refrigeration operation. As atmospheric pressure decreases, the heating capacity,COP,and air volume of the air conditioner decreased, while the outlet temperature increased, during heating operation. The decrease in atmospheric pressure had a much greater impact on heating capacity than on cooling capacity.
