Candles,as open-flame lighting tools,have the potential to ignite electronic lighting,and when placed near electronic products may ignite the flammable casing and spread the flame throughout the room.Electronic product hous-ings should be flame retardant,mainly in the shape of the housing structure,the quality of combustible substances and the level of flame resistance after the addition of flame retardants.This article analyzes the requirements for candle flame accessible areas,fire prevention thinking,assessment methods and warning signs for electronic products,so that manu-facturers can more effectively deal with the risk of candle ignition from external plastics.
