With smart home appliances become increasingly widespread,their security has garnered growing attention.Authentication mechanisms,as a core component of the smart appliance security system,are crucial for safeguarding user privacy and ensuring device safety.This paper focuses on the authentication mechanisms of smart appliances,ex-amining key evaluation factors such as the effectiveness of different authentication methods,the reliability of encryption technologies,and the security and integrity of data transmission.Using smart air fryers as a case study,the specific ap-plication of authentication mechanisms during the network configuration process is analyzed in depth.Finally,the paper looks ahead to emerging authentication technologies that may be applied in the smart appliance industry,offering in-sights for the future development of smart home enterprises.
