Structural Design and Optimization of Pressure Cooker Lid Based on OptiStruct
Taking the lid of a certain model of pressure cooker as the research object,the structural stiffness,strength analysis and modal response analysis of the metal lid were carried out.Based on the external characteristics and assem-bly requirements of the lid,the morphology of the metal lid was optimized to enhance its structural stiffness and improve the low-order frequency.Static and dynamic characteristic analyses were carried out on the improved metal lid.The results showed that the maximum vertical deformation value of the lid was reduced from 2.55 mm to 0.76 mm,and the deformation was reduced by 70%.The maximum stress was reduced from 313 MPa to 176 MPa,a reduction of 44%.The effectiveness and feasibility of the optimized design were proved,which provides a reference and guidance for the optimization design of pressure vessels and other metal stamping components.
