Experimental Study on Heating Evaluation Method for Gas-Fired Heating and Hot Water Combi-Boiler
The surface temperature rise limit stipulated in the current technical standard of gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boiler may lead to the surface temperature significantly exceeding the acceptable safety level under normal use conditions. At the same time, according to the method stipulated in the technical standard, the heating test is car-ried out on the surface of the specific part of the gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boiler.The results show that the temperature rise measurement value changes greatly at different ambient temperatures. The heat transfer analysis shows that it is not reasonable to use the temperature rise limit as the qualified judgment basis for the evaluation of heating test under the operating conditions of large ambient temperature changes. At the same time, for the internal heating impact assessment,it is unreasonable to take the external environment of the whole machine as the benchmark condition for temperature rise measurement. It is suggested that the temperature limit under the upper limit of the expected operating environment temperature should be used as the qualified judgment basis for the evaluation of the heating test of the gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boiler.Moreover,the temperature limit should be in the expected operating environ-ment,the relevant parts of the temperature to meet the safety and reliability requirements. In view of the similarity in structure and function between gas-fired heating and hot water combi-boiler and gas instanteous water heater, this paper also analyzes the heating test method of gas instanteous water heater.
