Simulation Study on Airflow Organization of the Top Mounted Truck Parking Air Conditioner Inside the Wind Deflector
Taking the installation of the top mounted truck parking air conditioner inside the wind deflector as an ex-ample,the influence of different airflow organizations on the return air temperature of the air conditioner is studied through simulation.The results indicate that there is a serious problem of exhaust air backflow to the inlet,for the ways of upper air outlet,rear and side air inlet,and the return air temperature is above 40℃.As the opening height of the wind deflector and the gap between the carriage and the wind deflector decrease,the return air temperature increases and the problem of exhaust air backflow to the inlet intensifies.For this issue,the side air inlet is more severe than the rear air inlet,and its average temperature is about(5~7)℃higher than that of the rear return air inlet.Improving the airflow organization inside the wind deflector,by changing the air outlet and return air inlet,the average return air temperature decreased by(5~8)℃and was closer to the ambient temperature(35℃),solving the problem of high return air temperature for the air conditioner installed inside the wind deflector.
