Gap Flow Simulation for Micro-EDM Deep-small Hole Machining with Flatted Electrode
Machining of deep-small hole is one of the most important applications in micro-EDM.Usage of flatted electrodes is demonstrated to be an effective method in increasing the aspect - ratio in deep-small hole machining. The flow field simulation and experiments were taken out to investigate the reasons for higher aspect-ratio and efficiency of flatted electrodes.
