Research on the Influence of Electrode Motion on the Electrical Discharge Inverted Cone Micro-hole Machining and Its Electrode Loss
In the electrical discharge machining of inverted cone micro-holes in the common rail fuel injector, there are problems such as electrode loss affecting the consistency of the inverted cone hole shape and flow stability.By selecting four machining effect parameters, namely electrode end face loss, machining efficiency, outlet aperture size, and inlet and outlet aperture consistency, the influence of electrode wire swing, vibration, and up down servo motion on electrode loss and part machining was analyzed under the same parameter conditions. The relationship between the various motion parameters of the electrode and the side loss of the electrode was obtained, which provides a reference for the product design and technique selection of electrical discharge inverted cone micro-hole machining.
