Influence of Parameters for Composite Process of Laser Shock Forging and Arc Additive on Hardness of Repaired 7075 Aluminum Alloy
The softening problem of the aluminum alloy component in the arc additive repair zone seriously weakens the mechanical performance of the repaired part.By applying composite process of laser shock forging and arc additive on 7075 aluminum alloy components. The influence of laser and wire spacing, pulse energy, pulse frequency, working current, and feed rate on the hardness distribution of the repair zone surface and interior is studied. The hardness distribution of the repair layer formed by the composite process and the arc additive process along the surface direction and depth direction is compared. The results show that by selecting reasonable wire spacing, working current, and feed rate and choosing the maximum pulse energy and frequency, higher surface and internal hardness can be obtained. The composite process of laser shock forging and arc additive can enhance the hardness of the repair zone and improve the mechanical performance of the repaired part.
