The theoretical formula of the variable base circle involutes for generator stator coils is derived in detail and the parametric drawing program of variable base circle involutes is developed with the help of the powerful com-puting ability of computer and the secondary development function of AutoCAD.The program is used into the design and manufacture of generator stator coils.Based on the ex-cellent characteristics of the variable base circle involutes,it has already been applied to the design and manufacture of generator stator coils.
