Analysis of Oil Film Characteristics of the Motor Sliding Bearings Based on Three-Dimensional CFD
The oil film characteristics of radial sliding bearings in large motors are the fundamental when studying the vibration levels of motor rotors,the temperature chang-es of lubricating oil and the design of bearings.The article explores the oil film characteristics of the motor sliding bearings based on a three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics(CFD)approach.Firstly,taking the radial sliding bearing of a motor as the research object,a physical model and a flow field model of the radial sliding bearing are es-tablished.Then,CFD simulations are conducted to analyze the oil film characteristics of the radial sliding bearing under different eccentricities.Finally,the distribution char-acteristics of the oil film and the pressure distribution of the oil film in the radial sliding bearing at different speeds are analyzed.
