With the continuous increasing of the ma-terial requirements for the major hydropower equipment,it has become an inevitable trend for the hydropower steel to develop in the direction of high strength and toughness.As an irreplaceable common key manufacturing technology,welding plays an important role in the manufacturing of the key hydropower equipment.By analyzing the'weak equal strength'welding matching scheme between spiral shell and ring plate,the sensitivity test of lamellar tearing,the influence test of welding line energy on the microstructure& properties of the joints,the optimization & evaluation of heat treatment process of the welded joints,the accessibility of manufacturing process of seat ring volute & the welding automation in the article,the key welding manufacturing technology of split seat ring volute of the high head pump-ing unit and the water distribution ring pipe of impact unit have been formed as an entire technologies.
