Development of the Generator Shaft Current Suppression Device
In order to prevent damage of the rotor and bearings due to abnormally high shaft voltage and shaft current during generator operation,a generator shaft current suppression device has been developed.Based on online monitoring of shaft voltage and current,the device actively intervenes when abnormalities occur,to effectively suppress shaft current and prevent from electrical corrosion& burning of the shaft and bearings,ensuring the safe and stable operation of the generator.
