Cause Analysis and Treatment on Hydrogen Purity Drop in the 630 MW Hydrogen-Cooled Generator
The paper introduces the working princi-ple of the double-flow ring sealing oil system,analyzes the cause of hydrogen purity drop in the double-flow ring system and formulates corresponding inspection plans,based on the abnormal drop in hydrogen purity in a 630MW generator at Shazhou Power Plant.After investigation,it is confirmed that the drop of hydrogen purity is caused by improper adjustment of the sealing oil pressure,leading to a large amount of air-side oil leak from the generator's sealing bushing to the hydrogen side,making the air from the hy-drogen-side sealing oil enter into inside of the generator.
