Inward Cohesion:An Analysis of the Original Development Force of the Chinese Nation as One Community
The Chinese nation as one community,as an objective existence,is not only a product of the continuous development of Chinese history,but also the historical result of the"inward cohesion"of the Chinese nation.The Chinese national community has gone through four stages:budding,formation,development,and maturity,and this is the historical vertical logic of the inward cohesion of the Chinese nation.The development and cohesion of the Chinese national community have important motivating factors.The unique natural geographic space,the political tradition of"great unity",and the pluralistic and integrated pattern of Chinese nationalities have contributed to the geographic cohesion,political cohesion and civilizational cohesion of the Chinese national community,which have also become the social horizontal logic of the"inward cohesion"of the Chinese nation.The historical vertical logic has led to the vertical cohesion,and the social horizontal logic has produced the horizontal cohesion.The vertical cohesion and horizontal cohesion has formed the interlocking cohesion,namely,the historical synergy of common struggle,common integration and common cohesion.The interlocking cohesion constitutes the logic essence of the formation and development of the Chinese national community.Vertical cohesion,horizontal cohesion and interlocking cohesion form the"inward cohesion"of the Chinese nation's multidirectional cohesion,and this multidirectional inward cohesion is the original force of the development of the Chinese nation as one community.
