The electromagnetic torque characteristics of external rotor permanent magnet generator under axial radial static eccentricity fault were analyzed theoretically,simulated and verified experimentally.Firstly,the expression of air-gap magnetic density before and after axial radial static eccentricity was de-rived by introducing the magnetic permeability correction coefficient ε(θ),and the winding distribution was considered,a new mathematical model of three-dimensional phase current of permanent magnet gen-erator with air-gap eccentricity fault was presented,and the analytical expression of electromagnetic torque under radial static eccentricity fault was obtained.Secondly,the electromagnetic torque ripple characteristics of external rotor permanent magnet generator under axial radial static eccentricity were ob-tained by finite element method(FEM).Finally,the analytical analysis and simulation results were veri-fied by a fault simulation experiment on an external rotor permanent magnet generator.The results show that when the rotor is radial eccentric,the electromagnetic torque is mainly composed of DC component,the 2nd harmonic component and the 4th harmonic component,and with the increase of eccentricity,the amplitude of DC component,the 2nd harmonic component and the 4th harmonic component will increase.When the rotor is axially eccentric,the harmonic components of the electromagnetic torque will not change,and with the increase of the degree of eccentricity,the amplitude of each harmonic component of electromagnetic torque will decrease.It is an important supplement to the analysis of air-gap eccentricity fault of external rotor permanent magnet generator.
