Because of low cost and flexible operation mode,more and more loitering munitions have been used in local conflicts worldwide in recent years,which has attracted wide attention. This paper introduces the development status of main foreign loi-tering munitions in the world,involving products of the United States,Israel and other military powers which include the Switchblade series,Coyote series,KUB-BLA series,Lancet series,Harop and Hero series of loitering munitions. Based on the introduction,the paper provides analysis of the development status of foreign loitering munitions,and puts forward the future development trend in the aspects of low cost,serialization,multi-platform delivery,stealth development and swarming opera-tion.
