The fixed-speed vertical motor exhibited a significant amplitude even when stationary.During operation, waveform distortion was observed at the drive end, while the non-drive end exhibits greater vibration compared to the drive end.Vibration at non-drive end appears higher in the east-west direction than that in the north-south direction, and there was considerable fluctuation in the amplitude.Analysis, disassembly, and experimental validation revealed that the waveform distortion at the drive end was caused by dynamic-static friction, excessive vibration at the non-drive end was due to flange resonance, inadequate support stiffness caused higher vibration in the east-west direction, and fluctuation in the amplitude was caused by beat vibration. The issue of abnormal motor vibration is resolved by welding channel steel at the flange and implementing vibration isolation materials.
