It is of great significance for improving channel utilization and running quality of cables to optimize the snake laying allocation of cable lines and mitigate the thermal expansion effects of cables.Therefore,a study is conducted on optimizing the snake laying of 220 kV high-voltage large-section cables.Firstly,the principle of calculating the thermal expansion of cables is introduced,based on which the necessity of snake laying is obtained.Secondly,the effects of snake laying method,node distance selection and snake arc selection on the thermal expansion of cables are analyzed.Finally,a snake laying optimization strategy is obtained based on the optimum deduction and analysis of snake laying parameters.
