Based on the massive data of Unit 1 in the operation of a 1000 MW coal-fired power plant, the effects of liquid-gas ratio on desulfurization efficiency and power consumption is discussed.Normal distribution statistical analysis is adopted to explore the required liquid-gas ratio and the corresponding pH value for controlling the average concentration of SO2 in the net flue gas of the unit at around 23 mg/m3,and the effects of liquid-gas ratio on desulfurization energy consumption and energy-saving potential are also discussed. It comes to a conclusion that controlling the liquid-gas ratio within a reasonable range is available to achieve sound energy-saving effects.
