To deal with the problems such as capsule seal failure and inaccurate oil level display caused by inadequate design,manufacturing and installation processes or poor implementation of operation and maintenance regulations,study is made in terms of sealed operation and maintenance of capsule oil conservators for large oil-immersed power transformers as well as oil-level operation and maintenance,analysis is conducted on common factors causing seal failure and the corresponding check methods,the calibration methods of swing rod-type pointer oil level gauges is specified,and the corresponding maintenance suggestions are put forward.
