Bird-proof prevention and control has always been one of the key tasks of a substation in its operation and maintenance.The metal wires and other foreign objects carried by birds nesting among the equipment structures are prone to cause short circuit failures of a substation,the excrement of birds would lead to flashover failures,and the flight of big birds is easy to cause phase short-circuit faults,which brings about safety risks to the normal operation of the substation.Therefore,a bird-proof device based on radar-sensing technology for substations,integrating intelligent self-induction laser bird-ousting function,inverter ultrasonic bird-ousting function and digital voice bird-ousting function,is developed to realize the automatic recognition of birds in the vicinity of the station with effective bird-ousting,which is available to guard a substation from birds and ensure the stable operation of power grid equipment.
