Experimental Platform for Conduction Measurement in Multi-physical Field of Dielectric Films Used in Capacitors
Metallized film capacitor has higher operating voltage and energy storage density and,at pres-ent,is used widely in renewable energy power systems.However,these application scenarios pose higher requirements for the performance of metallized film capacitor in complex environment.As the core element,the electrical performance of dielectric film is directly related to such important parameters as the with-stand voltage level and energy storage density of capacitor.The existing measurement standards only mea-sure the conductivity of dielectric film at room temperature,lacking measurement methods for the impact on dielectric film in complex environments.As for the application scenario of capacitor in converter valves in this paper,an experimental platform for measuring the conductivity of dielectric film in multiple physical fields is set up,the environmental range of working conditions is simulated and expanded,electrical,ther-mal and mechanical environments are applied on the dielectric film and the leakage current is measured accurately.The research results can provide guidance for the modification of dielectric film performance.
