Analysis on Influence of Installation Position of Resistor on Double Tuned Filters Performance
The double-tuned filter is at present the most common forms of AC filters for HVDC projects,of which both magnitude of resistance and connection mode of the resistor can affect the filtering performance of the filter. In this paper,the conventional resistances selection and connection mode of the double-tuned filter resistors are introduced. The filter performance of the resistor with different resistance and connection mode is studied.The impedance-frequency characteristics of the filter is studied by calculation,the filtering performance of the double-tuned filter under different filter resistor configurations is analyzed. The typical HVDC transmission projects is taken as an example,the configuration principles and suggestions are given,which has a certain guiding effect on the design of the filter for actual project.
