Selection Method of Series Reactance Rate of Shunt Capacitor Bank in Substation Based on Impedance Criterion
For assuring the harmonics not exceeding the standard,in practical applications the capacitor with high series reactance rate is switching firstly.The operation umber of reactors with high and low reactance rate has both difference and heterogeneity and,however,the configuration and use of capacitor with high series reactance rate brings greater active loss and weak economic performance.For this problem,a kind of selection method of series resistance rate of shunt capacitor bank in substation based on impedance criterion is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the harmonic data of the common connection point are obtained,and the state space expression is set up.The Kalman filter algorithm and the minimum standard deviation principle are used to estimate the harmonic impedance of system;Then,the limit harmonic impedance is obtained in accordance with power quality standard,and the relationship among the limit harmonic impedance,the equivalent harmonic impedance and the harmonic amplification factor of the shunt capacitor bank is analyzed to determine the impedance criterion for the selection of the series resistance rate;Finally,the effectiveness and rationality of the method proposed in this paper are verified by simulation examples.The results show that the proposed method can reduce the active power loss caused by the priority use of high series reactance rate capacitors in the configuration of shunt capacitor banks and improve the economic performance.
