Intensive Design and Application of UHV Hierarchical Controllable Shunt Reactor
The ultra-high voltage hierarchical controllable shunt reactor(referred to as"HCSR")solves the contradiction that the fixed shunt reactor cannot balance in limiting over-voltage and reactive power compensation. Its system has high regulation flexibility and provides guarantees for safe and stable operation of the ultra-high voltage AC power grid. Each sub equipment of HCSR has the characteristics such as heavy weight, large volume and complex structure of ultra-high voltage equipment, the integrated design and insulation coordination between each sub equipment will lead to a significant increase in construction land demand. This deviates from the policy of strictly controlling the increment of construction land in China. Therefore, with full consideration of influence of outdoor environmental factors and reasonable utilization of the concept of three-dimensional spatial design,a vertical design of the transfer busbar in the energy taking reactor area as well as an intensive design scheme for the local GIS design are creatively proposed.Under the premise of reasonable control of equipment and engineering construction costs, the problem of extensive use of construction land has been solved. After adopting intensive design, the land occupation of the HCSR can be saved around 25% of land area with significant results.
